Healthy banana oat bread. No oil, no butter.


It really is the most delicious banana bread I ever tried and it’s healthy, life is beautiful. 🍌


  • 2 eggs
  • 115 g greek yogurt
  • 2 medium-size, ripe bananas, mashed (around 200 g)
  • 75 g maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 g whole wheat flour
  • 60 g rolled oats
  • 50 g oat bran (if you don’t have any you can use flour instead)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Optional: some crushed nuts (I used almonds and pecan)


  1. Preheat your oven to 180ÂșC.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mashed the banana with a fork, then beat the eggs in the mashed banana. Whisk in the yogurt, maple syrup and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  3. Stir in the oats, oat bran, baking soda, flour and cinnamon.
  4. Optional: Add the crushed nuts or chocolate chips, whatever you like!
  5. Pour the batter into a loaf pan covered with a baking paper.
  6. Bake for 45 min, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before unmolding it.
