Easy chocolate pie



  • For the shortcrust (you can also buy one)
    • 200 g flour
    • 100 g butter – soft but not melted
    • 1 egg
    • 40 g sugar
    • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 20 cl thickened cream
  • 1 egg


  1. Mix the flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add the softened butter cut into pieces.
  3. Add the egg and mix.
  4. Knead the dough until you can shape it into a ball.
  5. Roll the dough on a floured baking paper.
  6. Arrange in the pie pan.
  7. Remove the excess dough from the edges.
  8. Place it for 1 hour in the fridge. If possible.
  9. Bake blind for 15 min at 180 ° C.
  10. Melt the chocolate broken into pieces by pouring the hot cream over it. Cover and wait 1 minute.
  11. Stir to dilute the chocolate well and let cool a little.
  12. When the dough is cooked, mix the beaten egg with the chocolate-cream mixture.
  13. Pour everything over the dough, and cook for 10 minutes, not more!
  14. Remove from the oven, let it cool down and keep in the fridge.
  15. Remove the fridge a bit before serving and sprinkle some cocoa powder for a final touch!
  16. Optional: You can also add fruits / nuts / chocolate shavings on top.
