Roasted figs with goat cheese and honey on toast


Ingredients: 4 toasts

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 figs
  • 100 g fresh goat cheese
  • Honey
  • Rosemary
  • Salt & pepper
  • Walnuts (optional)


  1. Toast the bread. Put aside.
  2. Cut the figs in such a way that it makes a cross (as on picture). Place them on the oven rack covered with parchment paper.
  3. Garnish every fig with 25 g of goat cheese.
  4. Place a sprig of rosemary on top of each fig. Add some salt and pepper.
  5. Cook in the oven at 180 ° C for 10 minutes. Until the cheese melts and becomes golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and place figs on toasts.
  7. Add a bit of honey on top and walnuts if you like.
  8. Enjoy with a salad!
