One of my classic cheesy French recipe 🧀 🇫🇷
Ingredients: 2 people
- 1 camembert (a good one!)
- Fresh thyme
- Olive oil
- Salt & pepper
- 2 tbsp of honey
- a handful of pistachio (or other nuts) – optional
- Bread of you choice
Instructions:
- Place your camembert in a small or big oven proof dish.
- Cut a cross on the top and lift the cheese skin a bit to insert the honey under it.
- Pour some olive oil on top, salt and pepper, fresh thyme.
- Baked in the oven for 20 min at 180 ° C.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle some pistachio on top.
- Serve hot with some pieces of bread (you can also add them to the oven dish, if you have space, 3 min before the end, it will toast them).
- Eat directly and reheat a bit if the cheese is not melted enough anymore.
